About Cape Town
Cape Town occupies a striking position between Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Its beauty sits alongside a complex history and a contemporary city shaped by many communities, industries and ideas.
This contrast makes Cape Town an important place through which to encounter South Africa: outward-looking and entrepreneurial, yet inseparable from the country’s social and historical context.
Cape Town accommodation
The group will stay at Taj Cape Town, a five-star hotel in the heart of the city, set within the beautifully restored former South African Reserve Bank. With grand heritage interiors, excellent dining, a spa and views towards Table Mountain, it offers a memorable base from which to experience Cape Town.
The Cape Town programme
The programme will combine engagement with South African business, leadership and entrepreneurship with time to experience Cape Town’s culture, history and exceptional food and wine. The aim is to understand the city as a place, while leaving room to explore and connect as a cohort.
Specific organisations, speakers and daily programme details will be shared as arrangements are confirmed.
Journey onward to the Winelands
From Cape Town, we’ll head into the Cape Winelands and settle in Stellenbosch, where oak-lined streets, mountain views and historic wine estates set the pace. We’ll spend our final days tasting the region, sharing long lunches and discovering why this is one of the most loved corners of South Africa.
